I think we had our first hot day of summer. It sure was nice to sit outside with my book and seeds while I kept an eye on the kids splashing in the pool.
The water was still a little too cool for me to sit in the pool but they had a good time. It's a "party pool". Notice the bench for sitting and the drink holders. Ha!
Whitney's cat, Mario, came to keep my company.
Leah isn't feeling too well so she didn't stay in the water long. Here she is resting on her lounge chair.
My little hen friend came over to see me while I was sitting in my chair. She is the same hen who comes into the coop and "talks" to me while I am gathering eggs in the evening. Soon she will be going to her new home at Whitney and Ryan's place. I think I will miss her.
